Nahoon beach seminar 2019-03-30

Nahoon beach was yet again the venue for what is becoming our traditional annual summer gasshuku. The weather conditions were perfect for a morning of training under the supervision of Glenn Cunningham shihan. Karateka broke up into 4 groups and alternated between instructors covering various topics from karate basics to kumite and even some supplementary self defense techniques.

For the final session everyone joined together in the river for some water training. The ceremonial closing took place in the shallows of the beach
waves after a brief Sanchin and Tensho kata demonstration in some rather unstable footing.

Thank you to Glenn shihan and the instructors for their inputs but thank you also to the karateka for attending and participating with open minds, hungry eyes and eager spirits.
